Admission Test Subjects
The standard of the test will be of the annual examination of the class preceding that to which admission is sought. The test will be held in the following subjects:
LKG (Lower Kindergarten)
An interaction with the child applied for admission shall be taken on the date informed.
- The child who seeks admission must be accompanied by the parents.
- Children brought for the interaction shall be able to:
- Recognize and recite the letters of the English Alphabet
- Recognize and count numbers 1-20
- Recognize colours, flowers, animals, birds and fruits
- Answer questions smartly and intelligently.
- The interest and availability of the parents in helping the child will be specifically counted in the selection of children for admission.
UKG (Upper Kindergarten)
English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science
Primary Section (Class I to V)
English, Mathematics and Science
Upper Primary Section (Class VI to VIII)
English, Mathematics and Science
For Class IX
English, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
For Class XI
English, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
Admission Procedure/Rules
ADMISSION IN CLASSES DEPENDS ON THE AVAILABILITY OF SEATS.
- All admissions will be taken on the basis of merit.
- After qualifying, the final result is declared. Thereafter, the admission is granted in the class applied for.
- The original report card (Mark sheet) of the qualifying examination is required at the time of interview. If not issued, the photo copy of the Half Yearly exam shall serve the purpose.
- Parents with their wards with the above documents must meet the Admission Officer at the time of interview.
- Those seeking admission will have to produce a Transfer Certificate (T.C.) of the previous school along with the progress report of the examination passed while taking admission, failing which the admission will stand cancelled.
- If in an admission test for admission to a particular class, a pupil is found unsuitable for the class, this shall not entitle the pupil for admission to the lower class automatically without an admission test.
- The original and photocopy of the previous school's mark sheet must be submitted by the second week of April, failing which the admission will stand cancelled. The school leaving certificate of a student joining from class VII upwards must be countersigned by the educational authorities of the district in which the previous school is situated.
Important Note
A student will be admitted only to the class mentioned on the Transfer Certificate, not to a higher class nor will a student be promoted before the end of a school calendar year. The TC and the mark sheet have to be of the same school.
